Youth Impact
Integration of After School CrossFit Programs in Washington County
In the 2024-2025 school year, we have had the opportunity to work alongside three K-8 schools. Brookwood Elementary and Lincoln Street Elementary (Hillsboro School District) and Aloha Huber Park (Beaverton School District) opened their doors and gave their students access to a free quality after school CrossFit program.
A total of fifty (60) student athletes participated in our CrossFit® programs which:
helped develop their functional strength.
improved their coordination and balance.
taught them how to move their bodies efficiently.
built a love movement because it was fun.
We look forward to continuing this relationship and working alongside these communities next school year. The hope is to continue enhancing the quality of these after school programs and expand into more schools in the 2024-2025 school year.
Expanding Opportunities Through Partnerships
During Spring Break of 2025, we partnered with Post 58 to offer a unique rock-climbing experience at Portland Rock Gym. Twenty of our CrossFit kids had the opportunity to challenge themselves in a fun, supportive environment.
This event allowed students to step outside of the gym and engage in a physical activity that fosters teamwork, confidence, and resilience.
Working with Post 58, an organization dedicated to empowering youth and building community, made this experience even more special. Their commitment to youth development and community building aligns perfectly with our mission of creating opportunities for students to grow into well-rounded, active individuals.
Events like this provide our students with more than just physical fitness—they offer them the chance to try new things, discover hidden talents, and build lasting memories with their peers. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Post 58 to offer more exciting excursions that inspire and empower our students to achieve greatness, both in and out of the gym.
Enriching Opportunities: Raise the Bar Weightlifting Meet
One of the most exciting milestones for our student athletes was their participation in the Raise the Bar weightlifting meet, which marked the first-ever fundraising event of its kind for our organization.
For six weeks, these dedicated student athletes worked hard to train for this meet, pushing themselves to develop strength, discipline, and focus. Through consistent training and commitment, they learned not only the fundamentals of weightlifting but also the importance of goal setting, perseverance, and teamwork.
The Raise the Bar event wasn’t just a chance to showcase their physical abilities—it was a celebration of their hard work and a testament to the power of setting and achieving goals. It also provided a unique platform for our community to come together, support our athletes, and raise funds to ensure that our CrossFit after-school programs continue to thrive and expand.
