Youth Impact: Bringing Fitness Programs to Public Schools

In the 2024–2025 school year, we partnered with three K–8 schools—Brookwood Elementary and Lincoln Street Elementary (Hillsboro School District) and Aloha Huber Park (Beaverton School District)—to provide students with free, high-quality after-school fitness programs.

A total of 60 student-athletes participated in our programs, which:

  • Developed functional strength through safe, age-appropriate exercises

  • Improved coordination, balance, and body awareness

  • Taught students how to move efficiently and confidently

  • Built a love of movement by making fitness fun and engaging

We look forward to continuing these partnerships next school year, enhancing program quality and expanding into additional schools across the region. Our goal is to bring accessible fitness and mentorship to even more students, supporting their physical, social-emotional, and lifelong wellness.

Expanding Opportunities Through Partnerships

During Spring Break of 2025, we partnered with Post 58 to offer a unique rock-climbing experience at Portland Rock Gym. Twenty of our CrossFit kids had the opportunity to challenge themselves in a fun, supportive environment.

This event allowed students to step outside of the gym and engage in a physical activity that fosters teamwork, confidence, and resilience.

Working with Post 58, an organization dedicated to empowering youth and building community, made this experience even more special. Their commitment to youth development and community building aligns perfectly with our mission of creating opportunities for students to grow into well-rounded, active individuals.

Events like this provide our students with more than just physical fitness—they offer them the chance to try new things, discover hidden talents, and build lasting memories with their peers. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Post 58 to offer more exciting excursions that inspire and empower our students to achieve greatness, both in and out of the gym.

Enriching Opportunities: Raise the Bar Weightlifting Meet

One of the most exciting milestones for our student-athletes was their participation in the Raise the Bar weightlifting meet, the first-ever fundraising event of its kind for our organization.

Over six weeks, these dedicated students trained consistently, developing strength, discipline, focus, and teamwork. Through this experience, they not only learned the fundamentals of weightlifting but also the importance of goal-setting, perseverance, and celebrating progress.

The Raise the Bar event wasn’t just a chance to showcase physical abilities—it was a celebration of hard work, achievement, and community. Families, local supporters, and volunteers came together to cheer on students while helping raise critical funds to ensure our after-school fitness programs continue to grow and thrive.
